holy night

AN: His and Barney's breaths, slow and
calm.
a moment's double drabble
Two empty snifters sat on the coffee table,
sweet scent of whisky faint in the air so long
-how long, now?- after they'd toasted the new
year, and each other. Scent of smoke, and
still-fresh wood from somewhere in the building,
mixed with the alcohol.
There was no urgency, nothing but mellow warmth
soaking his body. Slow -so slow; lazy-, soft,
wet touch of lips and tongues. Idle stroke of
fingers to faces, shoulders, chests, thighs;
whatever happened to fall under them. Stupidly
soft couch for their sides to create a single
depression into.
His rattiest -favourite- sweater resting against
age-softened flannel; two legs encased in ragged
jeans that had entwined at the knees back when
the teasing had gotten too soft, and *not*
touching had been impossible. Four bare feet
stroking at those legs.
Sex was the furthest thing from his mind. This
was closer to hugging, or dancing, than any
preliminary to fucking.
Crackle of the well-stoked fireplace merging
with the soft opera on the stereo. Faint sound
of the wind driving spatters of snow against the
patio doors that led to the lake in front of
their isolated cabin.
His and Barney's breaths, slow and calm; synced.

AN: "You just gonna stare at me the whole
way?"
driving candy double drabble
Eyes contentedly on the mostly clear highway ahead
of them, Lee smiled softly, "You just gonna stare
at me the whole way?"
Barney shifted slightly, getting that much more
comfortable leaning half against the door, even
though it meant more chill through his coat than
sitting properly in his seat.
Watching Lee's gloved hands smoothly slick over
the wheel of Barney's truck as he coasted into a
turn, utterly controlled swoop to the gearshift,
easy rock into a new position, move soft as
butter. Barney smiled a bit, anticipating the way
the hand lifted, fingertips last to let go, like a
final stroke to the still crisp leather of the
stick before the hand slid back on the wheel;
unhurried, smooth. Sensual the way the man never
was when he stood and jittered. Only when he drove
for pleasure. Or did other things for pleasure.
As the Raptor's V8 growled out of the curve,
Barney pressed back against the force, stretching
out slightly, foot automatically reaching for a
pedal to press, looking for the feel of that
power, smiling for real as Lee's soft-gloved fist
loosened and let the wheel slide through,
controlled but free. "Was thinking about it,
yeah."
AN:
LOL! can't believe just as I stopped writing
it turned out to be 201 words! (sigh, yeah, I
really am that easily amused, sometimes)

Chapter
three : Technique

AN:"She might not have liked your technique."
drabble
"She might not have liked your technique."
"Good point, Gunner. Did you actually pay
attention to how she reacted, man??"
"I am a *good* kisser, Caesar!"
"They have a point, Christmas. How the hell would
*you* know if you're good?"
"Well, he-"
Lee ignored Toll's starting to answer Barney,
turned in his chair enough to grab his pain in the
ass *friend*'s jaw, and pulled out every bit of
fucking kissing skill he had.
After a minute of watching them with interest,
Toll turned to shake his head at Gunner, "Nope,
doesn't look like your theory washes after all."
AN:
