I'm not even sur if I watched this the first time around.. though it has a really familiar ring to it.. ah well.  I love it now anyway. 

The fact that she *is* in charge (and in the '80s at that!).  The fact that he's fine with her in charge.  That she's fine romancing him and being romanced.. yet doesn't fall for him blindly.  The writters managed 2 good years at the start.. and year 4 was OK as long as you forget the last ep.  Year 3 almost made me give up on buying year 4.. that whole stretch where she just about turns into a shrew... ugg (nightmares of Voyager coming on); hate agreeing with all the folks who say you need romance to avoid turning into misery.. oh, wait! it's a show.  scripted.. by people.

Though I have to say, NO WAY a couple could spend that long romancing and kissing and never make it to the bedroom.  I'd give them both 2 months tops before they'd run away without a word or a phone!!  And YIKES but he looks young... 'course he still has that sculpted face in Thomas Crown so.. ah well, between jeans and whiskers (and the future of Laws)... <vvbg> me like eye candy (and I'm annoying people with my continued fascination with this one... so I figured going through the work of putting these clips up might just derail (cure? nah!) me..)
